The 2024 season was certainly a record-breaking year for the Irishman as he was crowned the BTCC Independent Champion after collecting twenty race wins out of a possible thirty along with two outright podiums. The fans favourite was in a league of his own within the Independents championship and constantly threatened for outright race wins against the larger manufacture teams. Along the way to his title success, Taylor-Smith was the only driver to finish all thirty races within the points whilst also making five consecutive ‘Quick Six’ appearance, both are accomplishments that no one else on the BTCC grid was able to replicate.
Árón Taylor-Smith commented: “2024 was an incredible year after collecting my first BTCC title. The countdown is well & truly underway for the 2025 season which kicks off at Donington Park on April 27th with all races being shown live on ITV 4 throughout the season. Incredibly the championship boasted over twenty-one million viewers during the 2024 season over the course of the ten races weekends which ventured nationwide throughout the UK. One of the primary benefits of the Redmore Recruitment BTCC program will be significant brands exposure on board Árón Taylor-Smith’s race helmet. Alongside this, guests of Redmore Recruitment will have the opportunity to gain behind the scenes access to the BTCC on race days.
Andrew Elliot Commented: “We first met Árón trackside for the finale and were blown away by his approach to motorsport and how everything felt so personal, exactly what we want to achieve with Redmore Recruitment.
