The Mental Health and Wellbeing Network 2025-2026

At Redmore Recruitment, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to society, not just through the work we do, but by actively supporting the wellbeing of our communities. That’s why we are proud to announce our sponsorship of The Mental Health and Wellbeing Network 2025-2026, alongside Callon Cymru Fostering.

Supporting the Next Generation’s Mental Health

This year’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Network is focused on some of the most critical mental health priorities facing the UK today. At the heart of the initiative is the expansion of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) across schools and colleges. By April 2026, the goal is for 60% of pupils and learners in further education to have access to these support teams, ensuring earlier intervention and support for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges.

With an additional 900,000 pupils and 1,700 schools and colleges set to benefit, we’re proud that our sponsorship helps facilitate these vital services, fostering resilience, wellbeing, and a whole-school approach to mental health support.

Community, Equity, and Inclusivity in Mental Health

The Network’s mission extends beyond education. There is a dedicated focus on improving community mental health services, with reforms designed to enhance access and outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities and autistic people. This includes promoting rehabilitation at home, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions, and ensuring community infrastructure is supportive and inclusive.

There is also a strong commitment to addressing stigma, promoting preventative care, and ensuring equitable access for all, including through anti-racist approaches in mental health provision. These are values that Redmore Recruitment shares deeply,  whether in the workplace, in education, or in the community.

Key Events and Initiatives

As sponsors, we are excited to see a calendar full of significant events that will raise awareness and drive conversation:

  • Children’s Mental Health Week (February 2026) – Theme: Know Yourself, Grow Yourself
  • World Mental Health Day (October 10th)
  • Health and Wellbeing at Work Conference (March 2026)

We encourage all our clients, candidates, and partners to participate in these events, as together we can help foster a greater understanding and action around mental health.

Why This Matters to Redmore Recruitment

As a recruitment business, we see firsthand the impact that mental health — both positive and negative — can have on people’s working lives and career journeys. We know that good work supports good health, but this must be underpinned by holistic support that integrates physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Our sponsorship of The Mental Health and Wellbeing Network is part of our wider commitment to not just placing people in jobs, but contributing to environments where they can thrive.
